‘Come From Away’ announces Scottish dates as part of first ever UK Tour

The hit Broadway & West End musical, ‘Come From Away’ is coming to Scotland. The award-winning stage musical based on the true story of the 38 planes being grounded in Gander, Newfoundland, during 9/11, has captivated audiences in New York and London for the last six years. The musical was also filmed and is streaming on Apple TV internationally. And now as part of the show’s first-ever UK Tour, the captivating tale of humanity and community comes to Scotland.

Our very own editor, Lewis C. Baird, reviewed ‘Come From Away’ last year at the Phoenix Theatre in London giving it 5 stars, stating “This is not only one of the best musicals of the century, but it’s one of the best theatre productions of all time. You leave the theatre with a sense of joy and overwhelming faith in humanity. This story is explored so exquisitely by its creative team and performed the hell out of by its band of masterclass performers. It’s a must-see for anyone who enjoys theatre”.

This tour is not one to miss, and thankfully the people of Scotland have three theatres to choose from, His Majesty’s Theatre Aberdeen (10/09/24 -14/09/24), The Edinburgh Playhouse (17/09/24 – 21/09/24) & Glasgow King’s Theatre (24/09/24 – 28/09/24).
